Capitol Art Field Trip Grants

The Oklahoma Arts Council is offering Capitol Art Field Trip Grants to reimburse transportation and related costs for guided school visits to the Oklahoma State Capitol’s art collection, supporting student learning in art, history, and civics; tours are available for students in third grade and above and may be scheduled September 1, 2025–May 30, 2026. Eligibility is limited to Oklahoma PreK–12 public schools (one grant per school site per year); awards reimburse allowable expenses—school-approved transportation, drivers, mileage, substitute teachers and support staff—up to $1,100 per trip with distance-based caps (0–50 miles $400; 51–100 miles $550; 101–200 miles $850; 201–400 miles $1,100). Applicants must be verified in the Oklahoma Arts Council’s Fluxx grant portal, request a guided tour via the Council form, and submit the grant application at least 30 days before the scheduled trip. Grant funds are issued as reimbursement after the field trip occurs and a final report is submitted.
