Carl Wagner Memorial Award

About this program

The Electrochemical Society (ECS) offers the Carl Wagner Memorial Award to recognize mid-career researchers who have achieved excellence in Society-related research and made significant contributions to teaching, mentoring, or professional guidance. The award includes a sterling medal, scroll, complimentary meeting registration, ECS Life Membership, an honorary dinner, and up to $1,000 in travel reimbursement. Nominees must have begun their professional careers 13–25 years before the nomination deadline, demonstrate interdisciplinary research and guidance achievements, and need not be ECS members. Nominations, submitted by ECS members, require an electronic form and two to five supporting letters; the nomination period runs October 31 of even years through January 31 of odd years.
