CBCRP Conference Awards

About this program

The California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP) offers Conference Awards of up to $25,000 in direct costs to support events that advance breast cancer research, collaboration, policy, public education, or solutions to disparities; indirect costs are not allowed. Events may be held in person, virtually, or in hybrid formats, with funding intended for up to one standard and one community-led award annually. Applicants must design an event with at least one major breast cancer objective and devote at least 50% of the event to that objective, submitting applications through SmartSimple. Standard Awards are open to qualified event hosts, while Community-Led Awards support grassroots organizations and require a letter of intent before the full application.
