CCS-BMS Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Research Award

About this program

The Canadian Cardiovascular Society, with support from Bristol Myers Squibb Canada, offers two Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Research Awards of up to $75,000 each to support original Canadian clinical or translational research, particularly on HCM diagnosis, progression monitoring, epidemiology, or prevalence. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all awards are granted, with projects required to be completed within 48 months and funds administered by the recipient’s institution. Applicants may be at any career stage but must be CCS members to accept funding, and research must be conducted in Canada with expected impact on HCM patient care. Principal investigators may submit only one application and should describe their role in any multicenter or ongoing-study subproject.
