Child Health Collaborative Grant

About this program

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), in partnership with Children's Minnesota and the University of Minnesota Department of Pediatrics, offers the Child Health Collaborative Grant to support collaborative research projects that improve health outcomes for Minnesota children and adolescents, with awards up to $65,000. Applications are due by 5:00 PM Central on October 5, 2026; funding decisions will be announced December 3, 2026, and projects begin January 5, 2027. Proposals must be partnerships between community organizations and University of Minnesota researchers and include at least two co-principal investigators—one from Children's Minnesota and one from any University of Minnesota campus. Co-investigators from Hennepin Healthcare, the UMN Medical School Department of Pediatrics, or other hospital systems are encouraged.
