Civil Engineering Entrepreneur of the Year Award

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Civil Engineering Entrepreneur of the Year Award to recognize entrepreneurs who establish successful private-sector organizations employing civil engineers or advancing the field. The award consists of an inscribed plaque and is selected by ASCE leadership committees. Nominees must be ASCE members in good standing, preferably licensed professional engineers, and owners, founders, or principals of an SBA-defined small business operating for at least three years; they must have led the company’s creation and served in senior management for at least two years. Nominations, including a signed cover letter, nomination form, résumé or biography, and two to three recommendation letters, are due March 1.
