About this program

The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) offers the Judith Graham Pool Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to support basic science and pre-clinical research in bleeding disorders, honoring Dr. Judith Graham Pool's groundbreaking contributions to hemophilia treatment. The fellowship provides up to $52,000 per year for a maximum of two years for research on biochemical, genetic, or hematologic aspects of inherited bleeding disorders, including hemophilia and von Willebrand disease. Eligibility is limited to postdoctoral researchers with completed doctoral training, affiliated with a U.S.-based non-commercial institution, and with no more than six years of experience since completing their doctoral training. Applicants must submit a Letter of Intent by March 14, 2025, and if invited, a full application by April 25, 2025, committing to devote at least 80% of their working time to the funded research project.
