Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund (MSCRF), a TEDCO program, offers seven targeted grant programs to accelerate discovery and commercialization of human stem cell–based technologies; RFAs for the next cycle are expected in late October–early November 2026 with regular application cycles in mid‑January and mid‑July. Programs include Clinical (companies or universities conducting human stem cell clinical trials in Maryland; IND and 1:1 non‑state match required), Commercialization (start‑ups and established companies), Validation and Discovery (faculty at Maryland‑based universities/research institutes, not federal labs), Launch (new faculty within five years), Post‑Doctoral Fellowship (PhDs awarded within the past three years), and Manufacturing Assistance (GMP production with a 1:1 match).
