The Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) Committee on Libraries and Information Resources offers the CLIR Distinguished Service Award to honor members whose noteworthy, innovative, collaborative, or sustained contributions have advanced Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies librarianship. The award provides national recognition for distinguished service to the profession. Nominees must be ASEEES member librarians, archivists, or curators, and nominations are due May 1. The winner is selected by the CLIR Executive Committee based on the award’s eligibility and selection criteria.
