CLRC Professional Development Awards

About this program

The Central New York Library Resources Council (CLRC) offers Professional Development Awards to help employees of member information organizations attend local, regional, or virtual conferences, workshops, and other professional learning opportunities. Awards are reimbursed upon submission of receipts and a short report (due within 30 business days), are capped at $500 for attendees and $700 for presenters, may be partially awarded, and do not cover per diem; CLRC can occasionally provide or advance certain travel payments if arranged in advance. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis (expect a response within three weeks) and applicants should apply at least three weeks before the event. Eligible candidates must be employed by a CLRC member organization, must not have received a CLRC award in the past year, and must submit a resume and a supervisor’s letter of support, with one application required per person.
