About this program
The BMES Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering Special Interest Group (CMBE SIG) awards the Rising Stars Award to exceptional junior principal investigators whose work advances understanding and engineering of molecules, cells, their interactions, and microenvironments, and includes a podium presentation in a special session at the annual BMES conference. Eligibility is limited to new/early-career principal investigators working within the CMBE SIG’s multidisciplinary focus, with applicants reviewed according to the SIG’s posted application requirements and scoring criteria.
