The **Coachella Valley Mountains Conservancy** offers the Proposition 68 Parks, Conservation Land Access and Climate Change Response Grant Program, providing $5.7 million to support projects that enhance recreational and educational use of conservation lands, improve park facilities, and reduce environmental impacts contributing to climate change in the Coachella Valley. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and tribal governments. Priority is given to projects primarily serving economically disadvantaged communities (SDAC) with median incomes below 60% of the statewide median, while additional points are awarded for projects serving disadvantaged communities with median incomes between 60% and 80% or underserved areas. Applications are accepted continuously, beginning with a pre-application form and consultation with Conservancy staff.
