About this program
The American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) offers the Collegiate Scholars Award to recognize outstanding academic achievement among junior and senior undergraduates majoring in horticulture. Departments of horticulture or plant and crop science may nominate students based on scholarship, leadership, campus or club involvement, and departmental service. Nominees must rank in the top 15% of their class; academic documentation and formal recommendation letters are not required. Departments must submit student names and institutional contact information to ASHS by March 25.
