About this program
The Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy offers ongoing, noncompetitive Proposition 68 grants to support recreation and tourism, historic and cultural preservation, environmental education, and related projects that enhance public access and economic vitality in the Delta and Suisun Marsh. Approximately $8.7 million is available for planning, pilot, implementation, and acquisition projects, with priority for projects serving disadvantaged or severely disadvantaged communities; matching funds are not required. Eligible applicants are California public agencies and 501(c)(3) nonprofits whose charitable purposes align with the Conservancy’s mission. Applicants must first submit a concept proposal for assessment before submitting a full proposal, and projects must generally be completed within three years.
