About this program

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection offers state Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) cost shares, supported by federal and state funding, for eligible agricultural conservation practices. Funding is provided as a rebate to help implement and maintain practices that protect environmentally sensitive agricultural land. Eligible applicants include agricultural producers and landowners whose property is within a designated CREP project area and meets environmental and conservation criteria; no matching funds are required.
