Construction Institute Award for the Advancement of Women in Construction

The ASCE Construction Institute, in partnership with the Del E. Webb School of Construction at Arizona State University, offers the Construction Institute Award for the Advancement of Women in Construction to recognize full‑time construction faculty who demonstrate excellence in education, research, and service and who provide leadership that advances opportunities for women; the prize includes a custom inscribed medallion, a $2,500 honorarium, and complimentary CI & CRC Joint Conference registration. Selection is based on strong evidence of service and support for female students, demonstrated impact and success in construction‑related teaching and research, and a national or international reputation with recognized academic leadership. Nominations (including self‑nominations) are accepted from ASCE members who are full‑time faculty in civil engineering, construction management, construction engineering, or related units, must include professional references, and nominees may not serve on the deciding award committee.
