Costume Society of America Fellow Honor

About this program

The Costume Society of America offers the Fellow Honor, its highest distinction, to recognize members’ exceptional leadership, service, and lasting contributions to the field of costume and CSA. Honorees receive recognition at the CSA National Symposium and in CSA and local media, and serve as mentors and role models for the membership. Nominees must have been CSA members for at least 10 years, worked professionally in costume, advanced the field through scholarly or other significant contributions, and enhanced the visibility and reputation of costume studies. Nominations must be submitted by CSA member sponsors with the nominee’s consent by November 1, 2026; complete packets, including a résumé, sponsor letter, and 10 CSA member support letters, are due December 1, 2026.
