CTRC MicroGrants Program

About this program

The CCTSI Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) offers MicroGrants to support CTRC‑approved protocols at University of Colorado Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado, funding CTRC resources and services such as research nursing, CCTSI nutrition, core laboratory, echocardiography/vascular imaging, exercise testing, indirect calorimetry, DXA body composition, and some clinical charges (laboratory, pharmacy, radiology). Awards are up to $10,000 per protocol per year for a maximum of three years (subject to fund availability after 6/30/2023), with no charge for CTRC inpatient beds or outpatient facility space. Applicants must hold a CTRC‑approved protocol (residents are not eligible), supported projects are reviewed annually to confirm progress for continued funding, and unspent funds generally cannot be carried forward without CCTSI Administrative Core approval.
