Curtis G. Hames Research Award

The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM), in partnership with the Association of Departments of Family Medicine and the North American Primary Care Research Group, presents the Curtis G. Hames Research Award to honor a career of outstanding contributions to family medicine research. Supported by the MCG Foundation’s Hames Endowment at Augusta University, the recipient is recognized at the STFM Annual Spring Conference. Nominees should have made major, sustained contributions to the development of family medicine research; selection committee members are ineligible while serving. Nominations must include a letter and the nominee’s curriculum vitae and be submitted to Melissa Abuel by November 8 annually.
