Dagmar & Nils William Olsson Visiting Scholar Award

The Swenson Center at Augustana College offers the Dagmar & Nils William Olsson Visiting Scholar Award, providing up to $2,500 in reimbursement for travel and living expenses during a 1- to 2-week research visit to support academic research on Swedish-American history or relations. The award is open to any researcher, with particular encouragement for graduate students and early career scholars. Applicants must submit a 2–3 page proposal outlining their project and relevant Swenson Center resources, along with a CV, via email to swensoncenter@augustana.edu. Recipients are expected to deliver an informal presentation to Augustana students during their visit and submit a short article within one month afterward for publication in the center's journal or digital repository.
