Dana Meadows Award — Best student paper in System Dynamics

About this program

The System Dynamics Society offers the annual Dana Meadows Award (established 2001) for the best student paper presented at its System Dynamics Conference, awarding US $2,500 to the winner (plus up to US $1,500 toward registration/travel) and $500 for honorable mentions. Eligible applicants are students enrolled in an accredited program at the time of manuscript preparation who have not previously won; any paper with an eligible student author that is accepted for the conference by the submission deadline (third Wednesday of March) may be considered. Submissions must show creativity and rigorous system dynamics practice, include a word count below the abstract and not exceed 7,500 words, and model-based papers must provide fully documented models/code to reproduce results; papers co-authored with non-students require a statement that the intellectual content is the student’s own and the student must be first author.
