Department of Surgery Research Fellowship (Surgical Oncology)

About this program

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s Department of Surgery offers a research fellowship to develop academic careers in surgical oncology by placing surgical trainees with committed faculty mentors for translational and laboratory-based research. The program includes weekly research conferences, collaboration with medical and surgical faculty, and grant‑writing training; clinical research appointments run 1–2 years and laboratory research appointments 2–3 years.
