About this program

The Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA), through the Canadian Agricultural Partnership (2023–2028), provides cost‑share support for farm financial analyses to help Ontario farms review past performance, assess current business conditions, and identify options to restore profitability and sustainability, with approved assistance payable directly to a qualified agricultural financial advisor (up to 100% where eligible). The service funds advisory financial analysis work performed by an advisor identified by the applicant; advisors are engaged by applicants and not approved or hired by OSCIA. Eligible applicants are established farms actively operating in Ontario with a valid Farm Business Identification Number (NIE), must demonstrate financial difficulty with supporting documentation, and eligibility is assessed case‑by‑case. Applications opened on 2024‑03‑01 and are processed continuously until funds are exhausted; consult the online program guide, request an application form via s-cap@ontariosoilcrop.org, and submit completed applications and supporting documentation by email or post.
