The Entomological Society of America offers the Distinguished Service Award to the Certification Program to recognize outstanding contributions to the ESA Certification Program and professionalism in entomology. The award includes a $500 cash prize and an inscribed plaque presented at the ESA Annual Meeting. Nominees must be Board or Associate Certified Entomologists and must be nominated by June 1 with a nomination letter, CV or résumé, and supporting information on professional and certification activities. Materials must be submitted electronically as individual PDF, TIF, or JPG files.
