The Entomological Society of America offers the Distinguished Service Award to the Certification Program to recognize outstanding contributions to the ESA Certification Program and the professionalism of entomology; the award includes a $500 cash prize and an inscribed plaque presented at the ESA Annual Meeting. Nominees must be Board Certified Entomologists (BCEs) or Associate Certified Entomologists (ACEs), and complete nomination packages are due electronically by June 1. Materials must include a nomination letter, CV or résumé, and documentation of professional, certification, and other relevant achievements.
