About this program
The California Department of Parks and Recreation’s Division of Boating and Waterways offers FY26 Pumpout/Dump Station Installation Grants to fund construction of facilities that prevent boater sewage from entering California waterways. Supported through federal Clean Vessel Act funds, the program provides approximately $243,000 in reimbursement funding for up to 10 awards across coastal and inland regions. Eligible applicants include public and private marina owners, public agencies, nonprofits, businesses, individuals, and tribal governments; applicants must provide a 25% cash or in-kind match. Awards support one-year projects, with applications accepted from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
