The California Department of Parks and Recreation’s Division of Boating and Waterways offers Clean Vessel Act-funded grants to support the operation and maintenance of pumpout facilities, dump stations, and floating restrooms that help prevent boater sewage pollution in California waterways. Approximately $24,000 is available through reimbursement grants for one-year projects, divided among coastal and inland awards. Eligible applicants include public and private marina owners, businesses, nonprofits, public agencies, individuals, and tribal governments, with a required 25% cash or in-kind match. Applications are accepted from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
