Division of Boating and Waterways Local Assistance Statewide Ramp Repair and Modification Grant Program FY27

About this program

The California Department of Parks and Recreation’s Division of Boating and Waterways offers the FY27 Statewide Ramp Repair and Modification Grant Program to fund repairs, renovations, and modifications that restore safe public boating access at DBW-funded facilities. Eligible projects may address damage from floods, accidents, or wildfires, accommodate drought-related water-level changes, and repair or replace ramps, boarding floats, restrooms, or trailer parking facilities. Applicants must be California public agencies that own, operate, and maintain eligible public boat-launching facilities previously funded by DBW; no matching funds are required. Applications are due February 1, 2027, with awards provided on a reimbursement basis for a two-year period, with extensions possible.
