About this program
The California Department of Parks and Recreation’s Division of Boating and Waterways offers the FY27 Statewide Sign Grant Program to fund the installation or replacement of signs at previously DBW-funded boat launching facilities. Grants of approximately $1,000 to $10,000 are provided on a reimbursement basis for obsolete, inaccurate, worn, missing, damaged, safety-related, or federally required signs, with no matching funds required. Eligible applicants include California cities, counties, other local government agencies, federal agencies, and special districts with DBW-funded facilities. Applications are due February 1, 2027, at 12:00 p.m. (PT).
