Doctors for Maine's Future Scholarship

The Finance Authority of Maine is offering scholarships to medical students enrolled in Maine-based medical schools, with a focus on supporting those interested in serving rural areas. Priority is given to students with a strong connection to Maine, including those who have received their high school diploma or baccalaureate degree in the state or have parents/guardians residing there.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a qualifying Maine medical school program and demonstrate a commitment to serving rural communities. The scholarship covers up to 50% of the institution's cost of attendance or $25,000 annually, with the potential for renewal for up to four years.
