Donald Pitzer Distinguished Service Award

The Communal Studies Association (CSA) offers the Donald Pitzer Distinguished Service Award to recognize individuals or groups who have made significant contributions to CSA or the field of communal studies. Recipients are honored with a plaque at the annual fall conference, although the award may not be presented every year. Nominations must be submitted by a CSA member by June 1 and include a statement describing the nominee’s service, along with a résumé or CV and supporting documentation when applicable; self-nominations are permitted, but Awards Committee members are ineligible.
