Dr. Anthony Fauci Award in STEM and Classics

The Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS) offers the $500 annual Dr. Anthony Fauci Award in STEM and Classics to recognize an undergraduate demonstrating outstanding work in both Classics and a STEM, pre-med/pre-health, or quantitatively focused social science or public health field; discretionary runner-up prizes of $200 and $100 may also be awarded. Eligible applicants are junior or senior undergraduates enrolled at a college or university in the United States or Canada who major in one field and have completed significant coursework in the other. Applications, due January 30, must include the application form, a 500-word essay describing connections between the fields, a transcript, and one recommendation letter affirming eligibility and scholarly ability.
