Association of College Unions International (ACUI) offers the Earl Whitfield Regional Outreach Award to recognize ACUI regions for innovative communication and marketing campaigns that promote regional conferences, educational programs, and volunteer engagement, honoring Earl Whitfield’s legacy of regional support. The award is recognition-based (no monetary prize) and highlights effective regional newsletters and communications efforts, exemplified by Region VI’s 2026 “Six on the Sixth” campaign. Eligible applicants are ACUI regions and their communications coordinators, volunteer leaders, or member institutions engaged in regional outreach campaigns. Nominations must include contributor names, institutions, and contact information plus a single compiled packet of campaign samples (newsletters, website screenshots, photos); nominations are currently closed.
