Early Career Award in Ethnobiology

About this program

The Society of Ethnobiology’s Early Career Award recognizes a professional or academic ethnobiologist at the beginning of their career for outstanding scholarship presented at the Society’s annual conference or published in its publications. The award, limited to one recipient annually at the Board’s discretion, provides three years of online Society membership and a registration waiver for the following year’s conference. No application is required; the recipient is selected by voting Board members attending the annual conference. Eligible candidates must be early-career ethnobiologists whose work demonstrates exceptional scholarly achievement.
