The Finnish Art Society awards the Edvard Richter Award annually, a €10,000 prize recognizing an outstanding art book or essay published during the year under review. The prize highlights works that demonstrate high editorial and scholarly standards and has historically honored authors and editors for distinguished contributions to art writing and publishing. Eligibility is limited to authors or editors of art books or essays published in the review year; the recipient is chosen by the Society’s jury/literary committee.
