About this program
The Electrochemical Society offers the Edward Goodrich Acheson Award biennially to recognize distinguished contributions to electrochemical or solid-state science and technology, significant service to the Society, or related discoveries, inventions, or research. The award includes a USD $10,000 prize, gold medal, plaque, complimentary meeting registration, dinner, and ECS Life Membership. Nominees must be ECS members and are evaluated through a nomination package containing an electronic form and two to five one-page support letters, with optional supporting materials such as a CV and publications list. Nominations are accepted from October 31 of odd years through January 31 of even years, and recipients must deliver a related address at the designated Society meeting.
