EFMC Grants 2026

About this program

The European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC) will cover full registration fees for a limited number of young academic scientists to attend EFMC-organised 2026 events: 20th EFMC Short Course on Medicinal Chemistry (Oegstgeest, 19–22 Apr 2026; 2 grants), EFMC-ACSMEDI Medicinal Chemistry Frontiers (Dublin, 22–25 Jun 2026; 5 grants), and EFMC Medicinal Chemistry 2026 together with the Young Scientists' Symposium (Basel, 6–11 Sept 2026; 10 combined grants). Application deadlines are 15 Jan 2026 for the Short Course and 12 Feb 2026 for MedChemFrontiers and the combined Medicinal Chemistry/Young Scientists' Symposium. Applicants must be young academic scientists who are members of an EFMC National Adhering Organisation and must register in the EFMC grant system to upload a cover letter (max 2 pages), CV and publications list, and an abstract where required (abstract not required for the Short Course); participation in both events is mandatory for the combined Medicinal Chemistry/Young Scientists' Symposium grant.
