The American Society of Primatologists (ASP) offers the Emergency Response Small Grant, providing up to $4,500 in urgent financial assistance for primate populations and nearby communities facing emergencies such as natural disasters, political instability, or unforeseen threats. Funds can be used for immediate interventions, medical care, habitat protection, infrastructure rebuilding, and other critical needs. Eligible applicants include researchers, conservationists, caretakers, and locals directly impacted by the crisis, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis and no specific deadline. Previous recipients and their associated teams or sites are ineligible to reapply for one year after receiving funds.
