About this program
The International Coral Reef Society offers the annual Eminence in Research Award to recognize a scientist’s outstanding, sustained contributions to coral reef science, including excellence in diversity, equity, and inclusion, mentorship, and community engagement. One award is granted each year, with recipients receiving a certificate, an invitation to present at the next ICRS symposium, and an invitation to contribute to Reef Encounter. Applicants must have more than 20 years of post-PhD experience and be current ICRS members who have maintained membership for at least three of the past five years; applications are due February 15.
