Energy Technology Division Research Award

About this program

The Electrochemical Society (ECS) Energy Technology Division offers an annual Research Award recognizing outstanding, original contributions to the science and technology of energy-related research. The award includes a USD $2,000 honorarium, a scroll, and complimentary Energy Technology Division membership while the recipient maintains active ECS membership; it is presented at the annual ECS spring meeting.

Nominees must be active ECS members with a recent significant achievement supported by publications or patents, including at least one paper published in the Journal of The Electrochemical Society or another ECS publication. Nominations are accepted March 15–June 15 and require an electronic form, cover letter, CV and publication list, three recommendation letters, and up to six representative publications or patents.
