Engineering Fellowship Grants

About this program

The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association (WBA) and the WBA Foundation offer Engineering Fellowship Grants providing stipends to broadcast engineers at Wisconsin member stations to pursue continuing education and training in broadcast engineering and related technologies, with up to two $500 grants awarded statewide. Eligible uses include continuing education or post‑secondary courses and factory training on broadcast equipment (trade show attendance is excluded), and grant funds may cover travel‑related expenses. Applicants must be broadcast engineers currently serving Wisconsin member stations and submit a WBA application detailing the exact educational program and projected costs; applications must be received at least two months before the training begins and awards are made by the WBA Foundation Board. Funding is provided from donations made in the name of WBA Hall of Famer Terry Baun.
