About this program
The ACS Division of Environmental Chemistry (ENVR) offers the Environmental Chemistry Engagement and Impact Award to recognize individuals or teams advancing environmental chemistry through impactful engagement, education, community partnerships, translational research, policy, or sustainable practices. One recipient receives a plaque and $2,000 and is expected to attend the Fall ACS National Meeting for recognition. Nominees must be current ENVR members and may include faculty, researchers, practitioners, industry professionals, or teams; self-nominations are permitted, but all nominations must be submitted by an ENVR member. Applications require a nomination letter, two support letters, and a CV combined into one PDF, with nominations accepted August 1–October 1.
