About this program
The ACS Division of Environmental Chemistry (ENVR) offers the Environmental Chemistry Engagement and Impact Award to recognize individuals or teams demonstrating exceptional leadership, creativity, and measurable impact in environmental chemistry engagement, education, research translation, or community partnerships. One annual recipient receives a plaque and $2,000 and is expected to attend the Fall ACS National Meeting; nominations are due November 1. Nominees must be members of ACS ENVR at the time of nomination and may include faculty, researchers, practitioners, industry professionals, or teams; previous recipients are ineligible for five years.
