About this program
The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) offers the EPD Distinguished Lecturer Award to recognize an outstanding scientific leader in nonferrous extraction and processing metallurgy. The selected recipient presents a comprehensive lecture at the TMS Annual Meeting, receives an award piece, and may claim up to $500 in travel reimbursement if attending in person; the lecture may also be submitted to Metallurgical and Materials Transactions B. Nominees must be available to deliver a technical lecture approximately two years after selection, and nominations are due April 1 annually with a nomination form, two-page endorsement, résumé or CV of no more than five pages, and two to five brief testimonials.
