About this program

The Entomological Society of America presents the Science Communication Award to recognize impactful, innovative projects or programs that engage diverse public audiences with entomology-related scientific information. Winners are chosen based on creativity, effectiveness, and reach in fostering public appreciation and understanding of insects, with an emphasis on promoting conservation and inspiring future scientists. Eligible applicants are projects or programs (and their creators) that can demonstrate measurable public engagement and impact; applications are submitted electronically per ESA guidelines—contact awards@entsoc.org for questions and specific application details.
