ESE Education Prize

About this program

The European Society of Endodontology (ESE) offers the ESE Education Prize (EUR 2,500 and a certificate) to recognise outstanding educational research or innovation in endodontology; the award is based on a written submission plus an oral presentation in English at the ESE Biennial Congress (next: Rome, 8–11 Sept 2027). Applicants must submit an abstract via the ESE abstract submission site selecting the "Education Prize" track and email a full manuscript (structured Abstract, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Discussion, References and a brief statement on relevance to endodontic education) to administrator@e-s-e.eu by 1 March in the year of the congress (deadline for 2027: 2027-03-01). Submissions must be original and unpublished; more than one author may be listed but only the first author is eligible and the presenting author must belong to a national endodontic/dental society that is a Full or Associate member of the ESE; up to five entries will be chosen for 15‑minute oral presentations (+10 minutes discussion). Presenters are exempt from the scientific registration fee, the Education & Scholarship Committee may withhold the Prize if entries are out of scope or not of sufficient quality, and an individual may win the Prize only once.
