ESE Original Scientific Research Prize (ESE Biennial Congress 2027)

About this program

The European Society of Endodontology (ESE) Research Committee invites original scientific research abstracts for the ESE Biennial Congress (Rome, 8–11 Sept 2027), with the best presentation awarded €250 and accepted posters eligible for publication in the International Endodontic Journal if presented by the nominated author. Abstracts must be original, approximately 300 words, include Aim, Methodology, Results, Conclusions and Acknowledgements/Funding (if applicable), and must not contain figures, tables, photos or illustrations; each abstract is evaluated once with no opportunity for resubmission. Only accepted abstracts will be invited to present a portrait poster (max 84 cm wide × 118 cm high, A0) and the nominated/presenting author must attend the session; poster presentations are moderated (3 minutes presentation + 5 minutes questions) and a limited number of high-quality submissions may also be selected for a 10-minute oral presentation plus 5 minutes discussion.
