2027 Ethel Newbold Prize

The Bernoulli Society, with support from Wiley, invites nominations for the 2027 Ethel Newbold Prize, a biennial award recognizing excellence in mathematical statistics or research connecting substantive fields with advances in statistics. The prize includes €2,500, a certificate, and an invitation to present a talk at a future Bernoulli or ISI-sponsored congress or conference. Nominees must be outstanding early- or mid-career statistical scientists with a significant body of research; nominations must include a letter describing the candidate’s achievements and a recent curriculum vitae. The award will be made only if nominations include candidates of both genders, and submissions are due November 30, 2026.
