EURO Excellence in Practice Award (EEPA)

About this program

EURO’s Excellence in Practice Award (EEPA) recognizes outstanding applications of Operational Research that have real impact on practice and demonstrate originality; the prize includes certificates for representatives of the winning application and a total monetary award of €3,000 shared among them. Eligible applicants are individuals or teams invited to submit a concise description of an OR application showing demonstrated practical impact and possible originality in methodology, application or implementation; shortlisted finalists are invited to present at a special session of the EURO-k Conference and the winner is selected by a jury. The application period for 2025 is closed and the call for EEPA 2027 is not yet open—watch EURO and the EURO-k Conference announcements for the next submission window.
