About this program
The Electrochemical Society’s Europe Section Heinz Gerischer Award recognizes an individual or group of up to three researchers for outstanding contributions to semiconductor electrochemistry, photoelectrochemistry, or related physical and materials chemistry. The award includes a €2,000 prize, scroll, and invitation to deliver the Gerischer Prize Lecture at the presentation meeting. Nominees need not be ECS members, but self-nominations are not permitted; nominations must include a form, nomination letter, CV and publication list, four key papers or patents, and up to five support letters. Nominations are accepted from October 15 of even years through January 15 of odd years, with the award presented at the fall meeting in odd years.
